屏山文物徑(Ping Shan Heritage Trail)は新界(New Territories)の元朗(Yuen Long)地区の屏山(Ping Shan)にある文化遺産を巡るコースです。
屏山文物徑(Ping Shan Heritage Trail) is a trail for visiting heritage facilities at 屏山(Ping Shan) on 元朗(Yuen Long) district in 新界(New Territories).

Ping Shan Heritage Trail 屏山文物徑
私が訪れた際は聚星樓(Tsui Sing Lau Pagoda)や鄧氏宗祠(Tang Ancestral Hall)、屏山鄧族文物館暨文物徑訪客中心(Ping Shan Tang Clan Gallery cum Heritage Trail Visitors Centre)にありました(他にもあるかもしれません)。ただし施設の中にあるので開館時のみゲット可です。
I could get some at 聚星樓(Tsui Sing Lau Pagoda), 鄧氏宗祠(Tang Ancestral Hall) and 屏山鄧族文物館暨文物徑訪客中心(Ping Shan Tang Clan Gallery cum Heritage Trail Visitors Centre), should be more I believe, but we need to be there when the facilities open.

屏山文物徑(Ping Shan Heritage Trail)は新界(New Territories)の元朗(Yuen Long)地区の屏山(Ping Shan)にある文化遺産を巡る1.6kmのコースで、14の施設があります。
屏山文物徑(Ping Shan Heritage Trail) is a 1.6km trail visiting heritage facilities at 屏山(Ping Shan) on 元朗(Yuen Long) district in 新界(New Territories) and has 14 facilities.
1993年にコースの整備が完了し、2007年に屏山鄧族文物館暨文物徑訪客中心(Ping Shan Tang Clan Gallery cum Heritage Trail Visitors Centre)がオープンしました。
The trail course was established in 1993 and 屏山鄧族文物館暨文物徑訪客中心(Ping Shan Tang Clan Gallery cum Heritage Trail Visitors Centre) was opened in 2007.
■屏山(Ping Shan)について: About 屏山(Ping Shan)
屏山(Ping Shan)は新界(New Territories)の元朗
(Yuen Long)地区にあります。MTRの駅では天水圍(Tin Shui Wai)が最寄りになります。
屏山(Ping Shan) is an area at 元朗(Yuen Long) district in 新界(New Territories). The nearest MTR station is 天水圍(Tin Shui Wai).
■鄧族(Tang clan)について: About 鄧族(Tang clan)
鄧族(Tang clan)は香港の五大氏族の一つで、中国の江西(Jiangxi)省を起源としている氏族です。五大氏族は他には文(Man)、侯(Hau)、彭(Pang)、廖(Liu)があります。
鄧族(Tang clan) is one of 5 great clans in Hong Kong and origin from 江西(Jiangxi) province in China. The other 4 of 5 great clans are 文(Man), 侯(Hau), 彭(Pang) and 廖(Liu).
香港では30代、中国本土では86代の歴史があります。
鄧族(Tang clan) has 30 generations in Hong Kong and 86 in mainland China.
屏山(Ping Shan)の地には12世紀頃に土着したと言われています。
It is said that they settled in 屏山(Ping Shan) area in 12th century.
■三圍六村(Three Wais and Six Tsuens)について
: About 三圍六村(Three Wais and Six Tsuens)
三圍六村(Three Wais and Six Tsuens)は3つの塀で囲まれた村と6つの村を指し、鄧族(Tang clan)が屏山(Ping Shan)に土着した後に作った村々です。
三圍六村(Three Wais and Six Tsuens) means three walled villages (=三圍) and six villages (=六村) which 鄧族(Tang clan) established after they had settled in 屏山(Ping Shan).
三圍(Three Wais) の3つの村は、上璋圍(Sheung Cheung Wai)、灰沙圍(Fui Sha Wai)、橋頭圍(Kiu Tau Wai)を、六村(Six Tsuens)は坑尾村(Hang Mei Tsuen)、坑頭村(Hang Tau Tsuen)、塘坊村(Tong Fong Tsuen)、新村(San Tsuen)、新起村(San Hei Tsuen)、洪屋村(Hung Uk Tsuen)を指します。
三圍(There Wais) are composed 上璋圍(Sheung Cheung Wai), 灰沙圍(Fui Sha Wai) and 橋頭圍(Kiu Tau Wai). 六村(Six Tsuens) are composed 坑尾村(Hang Mei Tsuen), 坑頭村(Hang Tau Tsuen), 塘坊村(Tong Fong Tsuen), 新村(San Tsuen), 新起村(San Hei Tsuen) and 洪屋村(Hung Uk Tsuen)
三圍六村(Three Wais and Six Tsuens)の設立後、これらの村には先祖供養や、氏族の集会、教育のために中国の伝統様式の塔や寺などの建物が次々と建てられていきました。
After they settled 三圍六村(Three Wais and Six Tsuens), many traditional Chinese buildings, such as pagodas, temples were built for ancestral worship, clan gathering, education and so on.
これらの建物は現在でも地域の司祭に使用されており、屏山文物徑(Ping Shan Heritage Trail)で訪れる施設の多くも含まれています。
Some of these buildings are still used by local people for festival and so on. Many facilities on 屏山文物徑(Ping Shan Heritage Trail) are included.
■書室について: About Study Hall
・概要: Summary
屏山(Ping Shan)鄧族(Tang clan)では、文化の継承・発展と教育に、特に(中国)科舉や役人徴用対策に大変力を入れており、初期の頃は鄧族(Tang clan)内の講義の参加や家族内の先祖崇拝堂で行っていましたが、後に私設の教育施設を建てるようになったのが書室(Study Hall)の起源です。
屏山(Ping Shan) 鄧族(Tang clan) had put much importance on culture and education, especially on the preparation for (中国: China) 科舉(Imperial Civil Service Examination) and officialdom, in the beginning, they attended or held classes at their family ancestral halls, and latter, they established private education halls, this is the origin of 書室(Study Hall).
例として主な書室(Study Hall)は、覲廷書室(Kun Ting Study Hall)、仁敦岡書室(Yan Tun Kong Study Hall)、聖軒公家塾(Sing Hing Kung Study Hall)、述卿書室(Shut Hing Study Hall)、若虛書室(Yeuk Hui Study Hall)、五桂堂(Ng Kwai Tong)、
があり、鄧族(Tang clan)の若者が(中国)科舉対策の教育を受けていました。
The major 鄧族(Tang clan) 書室(Study Hall)s are, for example, 覲廷書室(Kun Ting Study Hall), 仁敦岡書室(Yan Tun Kong Study Hall), 聖軒公家塾(Sing Hing Kung Study Hall), 述卿書室(Shut Hing Study Hall), 若虛書室(Yeuk Hui Study Hall) and 五桂堂(Ng Kwai Tong).
Many young 鄧族(Tang clan) studied there for (中国: China)科舉(Imperial Civil Service Examination).
書室(Study Hall)での講義には一度に50人〜60人の若者を集まっていたと語り継がれています。
It is said that about 50 to 60 youngers gathered at 書室(Study Hall) for the classes.
・教育: Education
鄧族(Tang clan)の鄧瑞泰(Tang Shui-tai)が清朝(Qing dynasty)嘉慶帝(Jiaqing emperor) (1796年〜1820年統治)時代の1804年に、(中国)科舉の軍事分野である武舉人(Wujuren)の単位を取得していたことから、※(中国)科舉の民間分野、軍事分野ともに力を入れていたことがわかります。
※(中国)科舉の試験には民間部門のだけでなく、軍事や農業その他の分野があります。
鄧族(Tang clan) 鄧瑞泰(Tang Shui-tai) held on of military degrees, 武舉人(Wujuren), in 1804, under 嘉慶帝(Jiaqing emperor) (governed from 1796 to 1820) era in 清朝(Qing dynasty), this indicates 鄧族(Tang clan) aimed not only at civil degrees but also at military degrees in ※(中国: China) 科舉(Imperial Civil Service Examination).
※(中国: China) 科舉(Imperial Civil Service Examination) held examinations not only for civil fields but also others, such as military, agriculture and so on.
屏山(Ping Shan)鄧族(Tang clan)は学問的に中国南部との結びつきも強く、覲廷書室(Kun Ting Study Hall)を例に挙げると、書室内の『崇德堂』(Shung Tak Tong) の銘板が中国 广东省(Guangdong)の顺德区(Shunde)出身の梁澄(Liang Cheung)によって彫られていることから、中国の廣東(Guangdong)地域と結びつきが強かった事が分かります。
屏山(Ping Shan) 鄧族(Tang clan) seems to have had well scholar relationship with Southeast China. As of 覲廷書室(Kun Ting Study Hall), for example, the plaque 『崇德堂』(Shung Tak Tong) inside, was carved by 梁澄(Liang Cheung), who was from 顺德(Shunde) area in 广东省(Guangdong) Southeast China. This indicates the strong scholar connections with this area.
1905年の(中国)科舉廃止後め戦前までは、地域の鄧族(Tan clan)の若者の教育の場として利用されていました。
After the abolition of (中国: China) 科舉(Imperial Civil Service Examination) in 1905, 書室(Study Hall) had continued to serve as educational place for local 鄧族(Tang clan) younger until before WWⅡ.

2. Not all of the historic buildings on the Trail are open to the public. Opening hours of the historic buildings may be subject to change. Please refer to the updates on the website of the Antiquities and Monuments Office https://www.amo.gov.hk
順路にある歴史的建造物はその全てが公共に開放されているわけではありません。また、建造物の開館時間は変更を受ける場合があります。最新情報は古物古蹟辦事處のサイト、https://www.amo.gov.hkでご確認ください。
・歴史的建造物や施設の展示物・所有物には触れない。もちろん汚さない。
Please do not try to touch heritage facilities or their belongings, of course do not dirt them.
施設によっては施設やその所有物に触れることができるかもしれませんが、絶対に触ったり、当然ですが、汚したりしないようお願いいたします。
At some facilities we may see we can touch them or their belongings but please do not try to touch them and, of course, never to dirt them.
・施設やアクセスはかなり住居の近い場所にあります。
The facilities and the course are located quite close to the resident’s lives.
施設やコースは住民の方々の生活にかなり近い距離にありますので大きな声を出したりごみを捨てる、室内を覗く・写真を撮るなど、住民の方々の生活の邪魔になることは絶対にやめましょう。
Heritage facilities and trail courses are quite close to the local resident’s lives, please never do such things which bother their lives as talking with aloud vice, leaving your litters, looking into or taking photos their houses and so on.
・熱中症に注意: Be careful of heatstroke
亜熱帯の香港の気候で長時間歩くことになりますので、充分な水分、日焼け止め、日傘などは準備しましょう。
We are to walk long distance under sub-tropical climate, please bring enough water, sunscreen, an umbrella against heatstroke.
屏山鄧族文物館暨文物徑訪客中心(Ping Shan Tang Clan Gallery cum Heritage Trail Visitors Centre)の自販機以外、ルート自体にはコンビニはありませんので、駅周辺で、必ず用意しましょう。
As well as I saw, except at 屏山鄧族文物館暨文物徑訪客中心(Ping Shan Tang Clan Gallery cum Heritage Trail Visitors Centre), there seem not to bet any vender machines, please buy water at station or before you come.
・時間に余裕を持って: Please have enough extra time.
各施設魅力的ですので撮影に時間がかかったり、道に迷ったりで予想より時間がかかることもありますので、余裕のあるスケジュールで訪れましょう。
As each facility being attractive, we may encounter the cases that we stay longer than expected or we lost our way, they may force us to take long time, please have enough extra time before going to next.
実際私も撮影に時間がかかった他、なかなか見つからない施設があり、トータルで5時間もかかりました。
Actually, as of me, I stayed at some facilities quite long time and took long time to find some other facilities. It took around 5 hours to me to visit all.

If you start trail at MTR天水圍(Tin Shui Wai) station
MTR天水圍(Tin Shui Wai)駅からスタートする場合は、【E3】出口から出ます。駅を出たら2. 聚星樓(Tsui Sing Lau Pagoda)が見えます。
If you try the trail at MTR天水圍(Tin Shui Wai) station, please exit the station from exit 【E3】, you can see 2. 聚星樓(Tsui Sing Lau Pagoda).
