清暑軒(Ching Shu Hin)は覲廷書室(Kun Ting Study Hallに隣接する迎賓館で、重要な訪問者や学者を迎えるために使われました。
清暑軒(Ching Shu Hin) is a guesthouse which is adjoining to 覲廷書室(Kun Ting Study Hall) and served for the important visitors and scholars.
当初こちらの施設に名称はありませんでしたが、1階の小部屋を参考に清暑軒(Ching Shu Hin)と名付けられました。
In the beginning, it had no particular names and later, was named as 清暑軒(Ching Shu Hin) referring to the chamber on the grand floor.
迎賓館として、地元・鄧族(Tang clan)の有力者の居住を意図しただけあり、建物全体の各部に優雅で壮大な装飾が施されています。
Aiming at serving as a guesthouse for prominent visitors and scholars, and being the local gentry residence, there are grandeur and elegance decorations on all over the building.
・歴史: History
1870年に隣接する覲廷書室(Kun Ting Study Hall)が建てられてから程なくして清暑軒(Ching Shu Hin)も建てられたと言われています。
It is said that 清暑軒(Ching Shu Hin) was constructed soon after 覲廷書室(Kun Ting Study Hall) had been built in 1870.
1993年に香港賽馬會(Hong Kong Jacky Club)の寄付による復元工事が完了しました。
The restoration works donated by 香港賽馬會(Hong Kong Jacky Club) have been completed in 1993.
・構造: Structure
清暑軒(Ching Shu Hin) はL字型で2階建の構造をしており、居住施設だけあり、浴室や台所も設置されています。
清暑軒(Ching Shu Hin) is L-shaped and 2-storey structure. As an accommodation space, in addition to lobby and chambers, it has a bathroom and a kitchen.
隣接する覲廷書室(Kun Ting Study Hall)の一室と小さな頭上をまたぐ橋で繋がっている部屋があります。
There is a chamber which is connected to a room in adjoining 覲廷書室(Kun Ting Study Hall) by a small overhead bridge.
迎賓館として、地元・鄧族(Tang clan)の有力者の居住を意図しただけあり、彫刻の入った壁や壁画、梁、模様のある格子、石膏の成型な、優雅で壮大な装飾が建物の各部に施されています。
As being a guesthouse and a resident space for local gentry, 清暑軒(Ching Shu Hin) is richly embellished all over on with grandeur and elegant decorations, such as carved panels, murals and brackets, plaster moldings, patterned grilles and so on.

From 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m./ From 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
休館: 旧正月初日3日間
Close: First 3 days of the Chinese New Year
