述卿書室(Shut Hing Study Hall)は塘坊村(Tong Fong Tsuen)にあった書室です。(中国)科舉や政府機関での要職に就くための教育の場として使われました。
述卿書室(Shut Hing Study Hall) is a study hall which used to be at 塘坊村(Tong Fong Tsuen) and mainly served as the educational place for young 鄧族(Tang clan) aiming at passing (中国: China)科舉(Imperial Civil Service Examination) and officialdom.
第二次世界大戦後に崩壊の危機から、前室を残して取り壊され、※前室(入口部)以外は住居となっています。
※地元の方々の住居エリアとなっているため、前室から奥は立入禁止です。
Except its ※entrance hall, 述卿書室(Shut Hing Study Hall) was demolished after WWⅡ to avoid its collapse due to the damages under the war.
※The area behind the entrance hall is now resident area, nobody except residents is not allowed to enter.
・歴史: History
述卿書室(Shut Hing Study Hall)は清朝(Qing dynasty)1874年、●帝(年〜年統治)の時代に屏山(Ping Shan)鄧族(Tang clan)21代先祖の鄧(Tang Shut-hing)(1810年〜1856年)を記念するために建てられ、主に(中国)科舉合格を目的とした鄧族(Tang clan)の教育のために使われていました。
述卿書室(Shut Hing Study Hall) was constructed in 1874, under ●帝(年〜年統治) era in 清朝(Qing dynasty), for the purpose of honoring ●(), the 21st generation of 鄧族(Tang clan).
It was mainly used as the place for the education to young 鄧族(Tang clan) to pass the (中国: China)科舉(Imperial Civil Service Examination) and officialdom.
第二次大戦で損傷し、ばらく修繕されず放置されていましたが、1977年に崩壊を防ぐために、入口部(前室)残して取り壊されました。
It had badly been damaged under WWⅡ and been left without any repairing for long time but in 1977, in case for its collapse, it was demolished except entrance hall (前室).
・構造: Structure
述卿書室(Shut Hing Study Hall)は伝統的な2書室の構造で、灰色のレンガ造りで扉周りが花崗岩で建てられていました。
述卿書室(Shut Hing Study Hall) was built as traditional 2-hall structure with gray bricks and granite around the doors.
入口上部に『述卿書室』と彫られたまぐさ石が、配されています。
Above the entrance hall, there is a lintel stone inscribed『述卿書室』.
前屋根の頂上部の飾りや縦板や支え具の彫刻、壁画など、大変優れた装飾が残っており、述卿書室(Shut Hing Study Hall)に施された装飾技術の高さを垣間見ることができます。
The remaining magnificent decorations on the entrance hall, such as roof ridges, fascia boards, murals, carved brackets and so on, they indicate 述卿書室(Shut Hing Study Hall) was wholly embellished with high-skill craftsman works.
