社壇(Shrine of the Earth God)は上璋圍(Sheung Cheung Wai)の西側ほど近い位置ある土地公(the Earth God=地球の神)を祀る神壇です。
社壇(Shrine of the Earth God) is located at near west of 上璋圍(Sheung Cheung Wai), and is one of the shrines which dedicate 土地公(the Earth God).
土地公(To Rei Kung)は社公(She Kung)、または伯公(Pak Kung)や福德公(Fuk Take Kung)と呼ばれ、村民を守る神として信じられており、伝統的な中国の村ではよく見られます。
土地公(To Rei Kung) is also called as 社公(She Kung), 伯公(Pak Kung) or 福德公(Fuk Take Kung). They often can be seen at traditional Chinese villages. This God is believed to protect the villagers.

同様の社壇(Shrine of the Earth God)は屏山(Pin Shan)では他にもいくつか見られますが、こちらの社壇の設置年代等は不明です。
Some similar 社壇(Shrine of the Earth God) can be seen at 屏山(Pin Shan), but the details such as when it was established here are unknown.
・構造: Structure
社壇(Shrine of the Earth God)は神を象徴する大きな岩が祀られたシンプルなレンガ造りであることが多いです。
Common structure of 社壇(Shrine of the Earth God) is simple bricks-based structure and placing the stones which symbolize the presence of the god.
社壇の中でも格式の高いものは左右に※鑊耳(Wok yee)と呼ばれる形の切妻が付いている場合があります。
Some high status 社壇(Shrine of the Earth God) have gables with ※鑊耳 (Wok yee) shaped walls on its both sides.
※中国のフライパンの持ち手の形。
