達德公所(Tat Tak Communal Hall)は氏下村々の結束のための先祖崇拝祭事や市場の管理など、特定の用途を目的に建てられた集会所としては、香港に現存する唯一のものです。
達德公所(Tat Tak Communal Hall) is the only surviving communal hall which was constructed for particular purpose such as being the place for cum worshipping aiming at reinforcing cum village alliances and for the management place for local markets.

達德公所(Tat Tak Communal Hall)は地主である(Tang Fang yau)が発企し、達德(Tat Tak)同盟の集会所や屏山(Pin Shan)市場の管理所として清朝時代の1857年に完成しました。
達德公所(Tat Tak Communal Hall) was originally established by one of local gentry, (Tang Fang yau) and was constructed for the venue of 達德(Tat Tak) alliance and management place for 屏山(Pin Shan) market. Its construction was completed in 清朝() era, 1857.
1899年のイギリスの新界支配に反攻した反乱軍の決起場所の一つであると言われています。
It is believed that 達德公所(Tat Tak Communal Hall) was one of the resistants gathering point against British takeovers on 新界(New Territories) areas in 1899.
2013年に遺跡指定を受けています。
達德公所(Tat Tak Communal Hall) was appointed as a monument in December 2013.
・構造: Structure
集会の場として、達德公所(Tat Tak Communal Hall)はシンプルながら機能的な構造で建てられています。
As a communal hall, the structure of 達德公所(Tat Tak Communal Hall) is simple and functional.
建物の大部分は灰色のレンガで造られており、下層部は花崗岩のブロックが使われています。
Most of its materials are gray bricks. Granite blocks used for its lower course.
当初は傾斜した屋根と2つの間、3つの区画で建てられました。1866年に2つの間、右側の『英勇●(Hall of Bravery/勇気の間)』、左側の『癒寂(Hall of Lonesome Consolation/寂しさの癒しの間)』が増築されました。
It was originally constructed with pitched roofs, 2 halls and 3 bays. In 1866, 2 halls were added, 『英勇●(Hall of Bravery)』 was added on the right side and 『癒寂●(Hall of Lonesome Consolation)』wad added on left side.
20世紀にコンクリート等での補強が屋根その他に施されました。
Modern reinforcements and renovations by concretes were conducted on its top in 20th century.

From 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m./ From 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
休館: 火曜日(香港祝日を除く)
Close: Tuesday (Except Hong Kong Holiday)
