香港のお寺シリーズ( ꈍᴗꈍ)
今回は沙田(Sha Tin)にある萬佛寺(Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery)の参道をご紹介します(◍•ᴗ•◍)
Today’s post is Hong Kong temples again. ( ꈍᴗꈍ)
Today I’d like to introduce the approach road to萬佛寺(Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery) ,which is located at 沙田(Sha Tin). (◍•ᴗ•◍)
長い参道の両側に金色の仏像さんたちがたくさん並んだものすごく荘厳な風景が広がっています(◍•ᴗ•◍)!!
We can see quite majestic views that many golden Buddhas sitting and standing in line both side of approaching road. (◍•ᴗ•◍)!!
なお、寺院内部も大変素敵なようですが、私はコロナ禍で入れませんでした。(｡ﾉω＼｡)
参道だけでも行く価値がありますので、本日ご案内します(◍•ᴗ•◍)
※現在はコロナ禍の入場規制はないと思われます。いつか行く予定ですが、それまで内部は各案内サイトなどをご参照下さいm(_ _)m
The views inside also are said to be quite superb, but due to COVID-19, I couldn’t enter. (｡ﾉω＼｡)
But I do can say just visiting approach road must be valuable, so I decided to post today. (◍•ᴗ•◍)
※I believe currently there should be no entering regulations against COVID-19. I will visit there in the future but please wait for it or visit the reference sites for inside information. m(_ _)m

萬佛寺(Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery)は新界(New Territories)の沙田(Sha Tin)駅近くにある、仏教寺院です。
作られたのは20世紀中で1957年です。
萬佛寺(Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery) is a Buddhism temple located near MTR 沙田(Sha Tin) station in 新界(New Territories).
It was founded in 20th century, 1957.
寺院には長い参道があり、階段は約431段あります。その両側にたくさんの金色の仏像さんが並ばれています。
その光景はまさに圧巻です(≧▽≦)
It has a long approach road with 431 steps stairs, and many golden Buddha statues are sitting or standing in line on its both sides.
The views of it must be quite superb and majestic. (≧▽≦)
入口近くの仏像様と、終点あたりの仏像様ではかなりポーズが違うので、きっとストーリーがあるのだと思います(ﾟοﾟ人))
Guessing from the much differences between the poses of Buddha statues near the entrance and of near the end, I believe they are expressing some stories. (ﾟοﾟ人))
もしかしたら詳しい方にはすごく興味深いのではないでしょうか(人 •͈ᴗ•͈)?
It may make some people quite excited, who are familiar with Buddha stories. (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)?
また、本体である寺院内部にカラフルで荘厳な建物がありますが、九重の塔や12,800体を超える小さな金色の仏像が収められたお堂は大変有名です。お札の裏に九重の塔が描かれていた時期もあるようです。
And there are many colorful and majestic halls inside, especially the nine-storied pagoda and the hall with 12,800 small golden Buddha figures inside are very famous. And the tower used to be painted on the bank notes.
前述の通り、私はコロナ禍で入れませんでしたが、現在はコロナ禍の制限はないかと思いますので、参道だけでなく中も楽しんでいただければ嬉しいです(*´ω｀*)
As I have described, I could not enter there, but currently there seem to be no regulations against COVID-19, I’m happy if you can enjoy not only the approach road but also staying inside. (*´ω｀*)

寺院ですので、当然参拝客の皆様がいらっしゃいます。
寺院での注意事項等をご覧いただき、参拝客の皆様のお祈りの邪魔をしないよう、ご配慮をお願いいたします。
Here being a temple, of course, there must be many people coming for praying, please see the attentions at the temples and be maximum careful not to bother their praying. m(_ _)m

・お猿さんがいるかも
You may meet some monkeys.
このお寺のあたり、実はお猿さんたちが住んでいます。私が行った時も数家族が突然 森から出てきましたw(°ｏ°)w
Around this temple, many monkeys seem to live.
Actually, I saw some monkey families suddenly came from the forest. w(°ｏ°)w
近づいたり距離を置いていたので、私には何もありませんでしたが、人が危害を加えられたようなことも過去にはあるようです。(ﾟοﾟ人;;))
I kept distance from them so I encountered no accidents but there seem to have been some cases that they hurt some people in the past.(ﾟοﾟ人;;))
お猿さんが出迎えてきたら、たとえ歓迎しているように見えても、距離を取り、近づいたり大きな音を出したりして、刺激しないようにしましょう。m(_ _)m
When you see them, even if they can be seen welcome to you, please be careful, keep distance and not to make large noises in case not to provoke them. m(_ _)m
↑おい！そこは、乗っちゃだめでしょ！
↑Hey guy! You should not stay on such a place!!
・偽僧侶に注意: Be careful of imposter monks
参道に入る手前や参道そしてお寺の入口と、何箇所も注意の掲示があるのですが、お金を求めてくる偽僧侶が出没することがあるそうです。
Not only beside the entrance and along the approach road but also at the main temple gate, there are many attentions which alert you to be careful of imposter monks. According to them, some of them may demand you to provide them money.
私は遭遇しませんでしたが、行かれる際は皆様もご注意の上、お金その他を渡さないようにしましょう。
I did not encounter such cases but please be careful and keep away from them. Please never give them money.
■アクセス(注意有): Access(with some attentions)
アクセスはMTR沙田(Sha Tin)駅から徒歩です。
参道の入口までだと、5分くらいです(・∀・)近い！
The access is on foot from MTR沙田(Sha Tin) station. It should be around 5 minute’s walk from the station to the entrance of the approach road. (・∀・)So close!
〈注意: Attention〉
駅近ですが、参道の入口までが大変分かりづらいです。お寺の隣のお墓の方がかなり目立っているので、間違わないようにご注意ください。
The temple being near the MTR station but the way to the approach road is difficult to be find at first, that of to the graves next to the temple can be find quite easier, please be careful not to go to wrong way.
私は最初お墓に行ってしまい、お墓の撮影ばかりしていました(｡ﾉω＼｡)ハズカシイ
Actually, at first I wrongly went into the graves and took many photos. (｡ﾉω＼｡) Quite ashamed of me….
①参道の入口までの⇩ルート⇩は下記のようになります(◍•ᴗ•◍)
The whole way to the entrance of the approach road is as below.
②沙田(Sha Tin)駅の【出口】を出たら、左側のスロープで地上に降りて下さい
When you go out the station, from 【Exit 】, please go down the slope on your left to the ground level.
③スロープを降りたら道なりに最初の交差点まで進んで下さい
Please go along the sidewalk (left) for a moment. 
④最初のT字交差点を渡り、左に曲がって下さい
Please across the first T shaped corner and turn left
⑤次ののT字路で右に曲がって下さい
Please turn right at next T shaped corner
⑥通りを端まで行って下さい
Please go along with the road until the end.
⑦転回スペースの左にある、出口からフェンスの向こう側の小道に出られますので、出て下さい
You can find an exit door on the fences to a path behind at the left side of the car turning space, please go out from it and turn left the path.
⑧少し進むと、、、
After you walk a little,,,
⑨参道の入口に着きました(◍•ᴗ•◍)★
Now you’ve arrived at the entrance of the approach road. (◍•ᴗ•◍)★
