本日は九龍(Kowloon)サイドの旺角(Mongkok)エリアにある、園圃街雀鳥花園(Yuen Po Street Bird Garden)をご紹介します。(◍•ᴗ•◍)
Today I’d like to introduce 園圃街雀鳥花園(Yuen Po Street Bird Garden), which is located at 旺角(Mongkok) area on 九龍(Kowloon) side. (◍•ᴗ•◍)
中に鳥市場があり、売られている鳥さんや吊るされたり積まれたオシャレな鳥かごなど、フォトジェニックな雰囲気を楽しむことができる公園です(◍•ᴗ•◍)
There are some bird markets in it and they give us photographic atmosphere with the birds being sold and hung cute bird cages. (◍•ᴗ•◍)

園圃街雀鳥花園(Yuen Po Street Bird Garden)は九龍サイドの旺角(Mongkok)地区、太子道西にある公園です。
園圃街雀鳥花園(Yuen Po Street Bird Garden) is a park located beside 太子道西 at 旺角(Mongkok) area on 九龍(Kowloon) side.
鉄道では旺角東駅や太子駅が近いです。
The nearest stations should be 旺角東(Mongkok East) station or 太子(Prince Edward) station.
雀鳥花園は1997年に再開発で造られた公園で、公園内には鳥市場があり、再開発前にこの場所にあった鳥関係の専門店街だった朱雀街を残したそうです。
This park was constructed in 1997 as a part of the re-development of this area. There are some bird markets in this park. They we’re placed here honoring 朱雀街, which used to be in this area as a specialized street for birds and to keep providing the place for the people who loves birds.
中の鳥市場には鳥さんたちだけでなく、鳥籠や餌などの飼育関係のお店が並んでおり、愛鳥家や観光客がたくさん訪れています。
There are many shops selling not only birds but also feeds and related goods such as cute cages and so on. Many people who love birds and tourists come to this park.
70店舗ほどあるそうですが、2024年夏に行った時には閉まっているお店の方が多かったです。
It is said that there are around 70 shops there, but I could see more closed than those opened when I visited in 2024.
(生きた)鳥の入った鳥籠がたくさん積まれたり吊るされている他、おしゃれな鳥籠もたくさ売られていますので、フォトジェニックな雰囲気を楽しむことができます。(◍•ᴗ•◍)
We can enjoy photogenic atmosphere with many hung stylish cages and piles of cages and hung cages which keep birds in. (◍•ᴗ•◍)
また、公園内にはおしゃれなモザイク画があるほか、外の壁画も美しいので、人物撮影の背景にも良いのではないかと思います( ꈍᴗꈍ)b✨
(ただし、私は撮る相手がいませんので、未トライです(｡•́︿•̀｡)←いちいち言わなくてよし)
And there also are some beautiful mosaic pictures in the park and beautiful wall arts outside, I believe they should be nice back for taking portrait pictures. ( ꈍᴗꈍ)b✨
(But not having such partner, I could not try such photos. (｡•́︿•̀｡)←No need to mention about it every time!?)

私は鳥を飼ったことはありませんので、愛鳥家さんたちのマナーや習慣は詳しくないです(｡ﾉω＼｡)
I’ve never had birds so I’m not familiar with the bird lovers’ customs and manners. (｡ﾉω＼｡)
あくまで私が感じた注意点(一般的なことになりますが)を列挙してみましたが、注意も足りないかもしれませんので、皆様のご判断でさらに注意深く行動していただけれは幸いです((◡ ω ◡)
Below attentions are just from my impressions (so they should be basic common sense). In case for they not being enough, I hope if you can act more carefully. ((◡ ω ◡)
・まず、鳥さんが苦手な方は
First of all, if you can’t stay with birds
鳥さんたちの鳴き声や匂いが苦手な方や、アレルギーのある方もいらっしゃると思います。
そ～いう方は、行く事自体を諦めることをおすすめします。(｡•́︿•̀｡)
If you do not like the crying or the smells of birds or if you have any allergies against them, I hope you can stay shorter or refrain from visiting. (｡•́︿•̀｡)

・鳥さんや商品を触らない
Never touch the selling birds and goods.
当たり前ですが、売られている鳥さんたちは商品ですので、可愛くても触ったり勝手に餌をあげるなどの行為は止めましょう。
This must be a common sense that the birds are shops goods, please do not try to touch or feed them without any permissions.吊されている鳥籠なども繊細な商品ですので、誤って壊したりしないよう、安易に商品には触れないようにしましょう。
The hung cases also are sensitive, please do not touch them.
・鳥さんをびっくりさせない(音やフラッシュの使用など)
Please do not surprise the birds. (ex. Making laud noses or using camera flush)
鳥さんたちは繊細な生き物ですので、鳥籠を叩いたり、側で大きな声や音を出す、カメラのフラッシュを使うなど、びっくりさせる行為は止めましょう。
Birds are quite sensitive creatures, please do not make them surprised by the acts such as tapping their cages, speaking aloud beside the cages, making loud noises, using camera flushes and so on.
・注意されたら撮を止める
Please stop taking photos if you’re alerted.
お店の方や、現地の方から、撮影その他の注意を受けたら素直に謝り、指示に従いましょう。
If you are alerted by shop owners or local people, please apologize them and stop taking photos right away.

①旺角東(Mongkok East)駅は【D出口】から出てください。
Please go out 旺角東(Mongkok East) station from 【Exit D】
②改札を出たらショッピングセンターです。出てすぐの広場を右へ進んでください。
You are to enter a shopping center, please turn right at the concourse beside ticket gate
③建物を出たら歩道橋になりますので、渡ってください。
You will go out the shopping center and reach to a pedestrian bridge, please across it.
④渡ってすぐ右側の階段を降りてください
Please go down the pedestrian bridge from the first stairs on your right.
⑤橋をくぐった先、右側に園圃街雀鳥花園(Yuen Po Street Bird Garden)の入口があります(◍•ᴗ•◍)
After you go under the pedestrian bridge, the entrance to 園圃街雀鳥花園(Yuen Po Street Bird Garden) can be seen on your right. (◍•ᴗ•◍)
●太子(Prince Edward)駅から
From 太子(Prince Edward) station
①太子(Prince Edward)駅は【B1】から出てください
Please exit 太子(Prince Edward) station from 【Exit B1】
②出たらUターンして、歩道を東方向へ進んでください
Please turn when you go out the station and go along with left sidewalk to east.
③この歩道を鉄道の橋が見えるまで直進してください。
Please go straight this sidewalk until you see a railroad bridge.
④鉄道の橋の脇のこちらが園圃街雀鳥花園(Yuen Po Street Bird Garden)です(◍•ᴗ•◍)
※正門は反対側のようです
The gate beside this railroad bridge is the entrance to 園圃街雀鳥花園(Yuen Po Street Bird Garden). (◍•ᴗ•◍)
※Anyway, the main gate seems to be on the opposite side.
